He works on all of my cars, and in my experience, you can trust him to do good work at a reasonable price.You talk directly to Ryan Mode, the owner, not just someone who runs the desk. He does his own work, and he gives it to you straight. He's even sent me on my way a few times when I didn't actually need a repair.I'm very happy with his work, and he's worked on three different cars for me, plus he helped me avoid a lemon when I was purchasing a used car a few months back.

I had the unexpected calamity of having my work van break a serpentine belt on the freeway...on a Saturday...a 120 miles away from my shop. After doing a quick Yelp search for shops open on Saturday, I came across MODE AUTOMOTIVE. I read the great reviews, and saw it was open on Saturday. I called, and Ryan answered and told me to have it towed there and he'd look at it and give me a quote. BEST CALL I EVER MADE! He looked at my van, gave me a quote and had it fixed in under two hours. Now, understand, this is a work van. I told him no rush, I'll pick it up on Monday. He's not open on Mondays, so I picked it up on the same day. Pricing was VERY reasonable, and for my situation, he also included a 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty on his work. REALLY? Who does that any more? 3 months is all you'll get elsewhere. In addition to the warranty, he realized how far I am from his shop, so he gave me a brochure for places near me I can go if something goes wrong. In other words, I can have my van serviced near me! RYAN, YOU ROCK!!! Thanks for making my experience at your shop a real pleasure. I wish you years if success and I will let all my colleagues in your area know about you.

In drive all the way from East County to see Ryan because I trust him. As a single mom its really hard to find an auto place where you don't feel like they're trying to take advantage of you. Ryan has always been extremely helpful and respectful. He provides options and educates me on what those options mean without pressuring. I've been going to him for over 5yrs, he's been great and reasonable with his prices. Highly recommend!

In this day and age its hard to find a business you trust and respect. Ryan is stellar and I would give him and his operation 10 stars if I could. I took my car to Mode for the first time today and I am extremely impressed with his knowledge base and thoroughness. I will recommend him to friends or strangers. The price was right and, to be honest, I don't really care what it costs. As long as the work is done correctly the first time.After all: "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten". not to say he was expensive, because he wasnt. The repairs he provided were done at market value.
